The first feedback from the court presented at Avignon meeting

After the presentation of the practice program for both age groups given at the 4th Transnational Meeting of Partners held in Nitra (Slovakia) in late September, and the application of the program to both age groups, the 5th Transnational Meeting of Partners in Avignon (France) offered the first feedback from the volleyball court.

Federica Stradi (Scuola di Pallavolo Anderlini, Modena) expressed the Modena school’s opinion about the proposed programs and highlighted good aspects of the concept underlying the proposed program as well as the adjustments to be made to time allocations in certain parts of the coaching practice. It was suggested that the introductory part of the coaching session should include games the aim of which is both stretching and warming up at the same time, to make that part of the working session more interesting to children.

Other partners came to the same conclusion regarding time-corrections to be made to certain parts of the coaching practice, above all in the 6-7 age group of children who lose a lot of time on the introduction and familiarisation with the practice system.

By the next meeting of partners, scheduled for early February in Sempeter (Slovenia), the proposed changes will be incorporated into new coaching sessions.
